Alicante - Semana Santa 2013
Semana Santa czyli Wielki Tydzień poprzedzający zmartwychwstanie Jezusa Chrystusa w Hiszpanii obchodzony jest bardzo uroczyście. Cofriadas czyli bractwa skupione wokół swoich parafii przygotowują procesję, która w Alicante rozpoczęła się wczesnym rankiem i trwała do późnego wieczora. Zadziwiają swoimi strojami nazarenos,przypominający członków Ku Klux Klanu. W procesji brały udział wszystkie parafie z centrum Alicante, które rozpoznać można było po niesionych ołtarzach procesyjnych niesionych przez costaleros. Ołtarze procesyjne to wielkie platformy ze sceną biblijną przypominającą życie i ukrzyżowanie Jezusa Chrystusa. Były też ołtarze Matki Boskiej opłakującej los jej Syna. Synchronizacja małych kroczków podczas niesienia ołtarzy ważących nawet kilkaset kilogramów jest perfekcyjna i widać jak dużo czasu musieli spędzić pracując nad tym. Zadziwiła mnie ta "inność" tych ceremonii w porównaniu z obchodami Wielkiego Tygodnia u nas. Zaangażowanie w kultywowanie tradycji jest zaszczytem; niektóre bractwa mają kilkusetletnią historię.
