Jerozolima miasto trzech religii monoteistycznych, gdzie Żydzi mają Ścianę Płaczu, chrześcijanie Bazylikę Grobu Pańskiego, muzułmanie zaś meczet Kopuły na Skale. Meczet Kopuły na Skale jest ważny także dla chrześcijan i judaizmu, bowiem kopuła przykrywa skałę, na której Abraham miał złożyć w ofierze Bogu swojego pierworodnego syna Izaaka. Wg Koranu Abraham tam miał złożyć w ofierze swojego syna Ismaela, od którego pochodzą wszyscy Arabowie.Stąd wstąpił do nieba Prorok Mahomet. Na miejscu dawnej świątyni, w której Jezus jako 40 dniowe niemowle został ofiarowany Bogu, gdzie Jezus w wieku 12 lat nauczał mędrców, teraz znajduje się rozległy plac Haram esz-Szerif, a jest w bezpośredniej bliskości meczetu Kopuły i meczetu Al Aksa. W Jerozolimie na każdym kroku widać, jak trzy wielkie religie monoteistyczne są ze sobą powiązane, ale też w historii Jerozolimy widać jak o wpływy w tym mieście walczono. Nawet dziś teren ten jest potężnym ogniskiem zapalnym w relacjach żydowsko-palestyńskich/arabskich/. Dla mnie sytuacja, jaką zaobserwowałem w Bazylice Grobu Pańskiego była totalnie niezrozumiała, gdy chrześcijanie różnych obrządków "walczyli" o wpływy w tej bazylice. Więcej nie będę tu komentował, bo jest to problem jedności wszystkich chrześcijan....Trzeba tam być, widzieć, zrozumieć...jedna wizyta w Jerozolimie wg mnie nie wystarcza. Muszę tam wrócić.
